When we were organizing the Matchbox House Exhibition Party, we got in contact with Daniele Rugo, director of London Last Days, and invited him to showcase the trailer. After this, Daniele proposed to publish an article about Matchbox and Sandgrains on MUBI's Garage, an online cinema and community for people who love film. 

Garage is a specific branch within the MUBI site that exists to curate and showcase media created by emerging filmmakers. Here is the full article written by our wonderful Richard Webb.

"Sandgrains, filmed in Cabo-Verde, a country that for several reasons is very close to us, focuses on one of the most relevant issues of the Common Fisheries Policy – it’s external dimension. Furthermore, it’s innovative production format is naturally appealing to PONG-Pesca and the organizations that comprise it".

"Today, with the publication of the following article by the Matchbox Media Collective, we initiate a collaboration that hopefully will culminate with the screening of the documentary here in Portugal, during 2012".
